Tangkuban Perahu is the most popular volcano in Sunda, due to its Sangkuriang legend and the easy access to go there. It is still an active volcano, which has erupted 30 times in more than forty-thousand years. The last eruption was in 2013. Anyway, it is safe to go sightseeing here as long as we follow the rules.

Orchid Forest Cikole is a lovely park in the middle of pine forest. The park is beautifully decorated with lots of various orchids as well as other flowers.
Here we can stroll in a pine forest full with orchids, walk up high from tree to tree on a Sky Bridge, or have an adrenaline rush in a High Rope obstacle.

On the northern valley of mount Tangkuban Perahu lays Ciater Hot Spring. It used to be a basic hot pool with a small river, the natural hot spring from mount Tangkuban Perahu flows through them all. But nowadays, it has developed into a spa resort complete with a hot spring water park, bath rooms, cafes, hotel, and some other attractions such as flying fox, horse ride and rafting. All in all, it is one stop vacation destination for a whole family!
Located in Cikole, the most famous camping area in Bandung, it offers many flying fox challenges designed for adults as well as children. There are 4 circuits here, from the easiest one from 2m above the ground until the most challenging one: the 135m flying fox from a 20m above the ground platform.
Have you been thinking about sprucing up your gardens? Cihideung is the best place to find your next plants and flowers for your garden. Cihideung is a big village between Bandung and Lembang, the easiest to go there is via Setiabudhi street. The entrance is the street right in front of Ledeng bus station.
We will find many nurseries along the road, ranges from the green houses made of bamboo to the people grow potted plants on their front yards. It is refreshing to drive around here, where you can see bloomed flowers and green exotic leaves everywhere.
Does your family love horse riding? If so, you might like visiting De Ranch, a park for riding horses. It provides regular horses and ponies. In addition, it has some games such as archery, biking and trampoline.

Driving further up from De Ranch, we will reach Begonia Garden. The main attraction here is a garden full with blooming flowers. As the name implies, a significant portion of the garden is covered with begonia. The remaining is covered with equally beautiful flowers such as roses, hydrangea and many more. Despite of its relatively small size, this garden has many photo spots.

Maribaya park is one of the oldest attractions in Lembang. The main attraction here is curug Omas (Omas waterfall in English). We may cross the bridge on top of the waterfall to have a closer look. The park is connected to Taman Hutan Rakyat Djuanda (Djuanda forest park). THR Djuanda in North of Bandung is popularly known as Dago Pakar.
Maribaya Natural Hot Spring Resort is a relatively new holiday destination in Lembang. The forest view combines with the small waterfalls is beautiful, although the main attraction here is the hot spring. On top of the hot spring pools and bathrooms, this resort also provides playgrounds, a mini zoo, and fun games.

As the name implies, this park has a unique food court where each food stall is in a small boat tied up to the dock. However, you will be surprised to find out that this foodcourt is only a part of the park, while the big portion of this park is covered with water and the remaining parts are beautifully landscaped gardens.

This amusement park located right in the middle of Cihideung. It is like a giant playground for the whole family where we can have fun in the waterpark, ride segway, atv, horses and many more…
It is a family leisure park, which offers places to hang out at its restaurants and foodcourt, places to stay overnight either in cottages or premium tents, and lots of outdoor activities. Overall, it is a great place to have fun with your family.

One of the pioneer attractions near Bandung, this waterfall has been popular for years. Recently, people also called it as rainbow waterfall since it will be light up at dusk. The address is at Jalan Kolonel Masturi no. 325, Cisarua, near Dusun Bambu and Cisarua bus station. Although it is conveniently located on the side of the road, we still need to prepare to walk down 567 steps to reach the waterfall, which might be an effort when we return :)
The best place to see a lot, literally lots of butterflies flying freely! It is also a very good place to familiarize ourselves with the life cycle of a butterfly as well as the many different but equally beautiful butterflies.

This place is packed with beautiful landscapes. Presently, it centers on the hobbit house and a look alike of European village. We also can rent European traditional customs to further polish our pictures. Alternatively, we can feed and take pictures with the bunnies and sheep there.
Recently, a 3D art has become a trending attraction across countries, including Bandung. This new attraction is located on Jalan Setiabudhi, the provincial street that connects Bandung and Lembang. Since the main purpose here is to appreciate art and take action as part of the picture, don’t forget to bring your best camera!
Bosscha is the oldest observatory in Indonesia. It was built in 1923 during Dutch colonization and fortunately survived the World War II. It has five large telescope, the main one is the Zeiss double refractor with 60 cm in diameter and 10.7 meters in focal length.
There is a guided tour for publics every saturday morning. Although we are not allowed to try any of the telescopes, it is still one rare opportunity to be inside an observatory :)
