If you have some time to explore the highlands in the land of Sunda, I recommend you to go on this road trip. The weather is nice, lots of sunshine and cold breezes, often it is foggy in the late afternoon, especially during rainy seasons. There are many tourist attractions along the way.

Many people choose this road trip whenever they want to avoid traffic congestion in Puncak Pass (read about what time the police implement one-way traffic at Puncak during weekends).Presently, the Jagorawi toll road had been extended until Cigombong, a small town on the way to Sukabumi.

A road trip is always fun when you can stop over in some interesting places. Here you can explore the hanging bridge at Situ Gunung, the park at Salabintana, and food hunting in Sukabumi. The beaches in the southern part of Sukabumi is pretty famous. It is where the Ciletuh Geopark lays. The most popular beaches are Pelabuhan Ratu beach, Ujung Genteng beach, and the green turtle conservatory at Pangumbahan beach.

A road trip from Cirebon to Bandung used to be passing several towns, such as Majalengka and Sumedang. It is a two-way lane of the provincial road along the way. Thus, it is no fun when your car is stuck behind a slow-moving truck.

Anyway, when you pass through Sumedang, you must try its famous tofu, either for lunch or snack.

This road becomes more important after the opening of Kertajati International Airport, at least until Cileunyi Sumedang Dawuan (Cisumdawu) toll road is completed at the end of 2021.

#5. Road trip from Cirebon to Bandung via Cipali, Cikampek, and Purbaleunyi toll roads.

The traffic congestion on the provincial road between Cirebon and Bandung is inevitable. Often, you have to leave very early in the morning to avoid it. Hence, it is a relief when Jakarta - Cikampek toll road was extended to the Cipali toll road to reach Cirebon.

Driving on Cipali to Cikampek then exit at km.66 to enter Purbaleunyi toll road, the road trip from Cirebon to Bandung takes less than three hours.
